Constant littering and fly tipping
Reported via Android in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 21:20, Mon 26 February 2024
Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5635876.
Littering and fly tipping, it's been happening for years and enough is enough. I'm now working from home and noticing it a lot more. There really needs to be street cleans in the area regularly and street bins.
There is regularly discarded old furniture and old fencing rubbish of all kinds dumped on the street and in shared passage ways. White Street, HU35PS. Hawthorn avenue area.

Constant littering, letters were sent to residents, however no bin installed and littering is still present.

There is food and food wrappers all the way down the street again. Sending letters and unlimited amount of times saying that they're going to get a fine if they do it again isn't going to work. There needs to be a street bin and cameras to finally stop this.

Still littering everywhere and used furniture/appliances and canvases on the footpath, also drinking and smoking on the street during good weather, blocking the footpath with chairs and also discarded used cigarettes thrown on the footpaths and roads. I have seen a litter picker occasionally, but there needs to be a permanent solution such as cameras and actually fining them for this instead of giving an unlimited amount of warnings via letter, as it's like cry wolf, they don't believe they are going to have any conciquen es for this so they continue to dump rubbish and act the way that they do.
