Speed of vehicles around the bend on Grafton Street, coming up and down Park Street
Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:42, Sun 25 February 2024
Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5628201.
The road narrows to one lane , an existing traffic management system that is in place - it is dangerous and not fit for purpose. There have been many vehicles clipping the kerbs, damage to a vehicle last week where the chassis and wheel came off, I appreciate there is a sign to say give way to oncoming vehicles but cars drive far too fast the the type of road.
Suggestions: Do an observation on the speed and volume of vehicles Make Grafton Street bend into a junction, Add another speed hump on Park Street Add a 20mph road sign

So much so now that the bollard with the arrow has been broken off Soon after a car drove over and got stuck on the central platform where the bollard with the arrow was Cars coming from grafton street turning right Into park street down have to slow almost to a stop It would be better as a junction The narrowing road on park street. Is dangerous Cars approach too fast in both directions of park street
This is a big issue
