Sunken roadway

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5626075.

Located on the northbound A273 near the junction with B2112 at Clayton Hill, Hassocks. There is a very large sunken and uneven dip in the road surface that is more than six inches in depth. It spans approximately 2 metres wide and extends approximately 1 metre. Then issue has been present for more than a year, which has had previously suffered with pot hole repairs. This issue is also dangerous to motorists as it could result in an accident in trying to avoid the problem into the path of oncoming traffic. Please consider a proper repair to the road sub base materials, thank you.
