Large pothole in middle of road Stopham side of railway bridge

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5618394.

Pothole gradually getting bigger. Has been theee some time but is now getting to the point where it could cause some damage.

Travelling from SP5 5DP to BN44 3WD via A272, I am totally aware of the present road conditions, travelling under the railway bridge at Pulborough could not avoid a large pothole in the middle of the road. On reaching my destination inspected the offside front tyre, which had a large bulge, resulting in a new tyre. Can I claim for this, the tyre co., ATS Salisbury can confirm
