Street light is far too bright

Reported via mobile in the Lighting enquiry category anonymously at 19:27, Thursday 22 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5617514.

Please could you either install a light shield or reduce the voltage of the LEDs. Despite having to have double lined blinds made, the light is preventing us from sleeping. One bedroom at the end of the house has two windows (see attached) affected. One at the gable end a d one on Barnack Rosd. It is particularly bad if we have to open the window to allow air in (so the blind goes up). Spring/ summer is like sleeping in daylight! All our bedrooms are affected by two streetlights on Barnack Road. I would greatly appreciate you turning down the brightness. We are surrounded by streetlights from all angles! Thank you in advance.
