National Grid works blocking church entrance

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:32, Thu 22 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5614504.

There are works which are blocking the entrance to the church car park. The church had no warning of these, and no contact from National Grid either.

Obviously these will inhibit access to and from the church car park on what is a busy stretch of road, particularly around school drop off/pick up time. As such, traffic management should have been considered/implemented. Unfortunately all that seems to have been considered "some carriageway encroachment".

The one.network site suggests that these works could last a week - could irgent consideration be given to whether additional traffic management approaches are required? e.g. temporary lights.
