‘Crater’ causing dangerous manoeuvres to avoid ruining vehicles

These potholes (multiple) approximately outside number 45 high street, have been here for a very long time. Previous ‘fixes’ haven’t seemed to last longer than a week and it just gets bigger each time. You have to slow to a stop to try crawl around it at an angle, or, as I’ve seen in some cases, go on the other side of the road to avoid bottoming out or cracking a rim. It’s damaging cars and is a major hazard. It has been a problem for so long, that it can even be seen on street view. It needs a proper rectification and not a quick fix as they aren’t working.
