  • This situation at the junction of bottom of Lodge Causeway is dangerous. The HUGE puddle every time it rains stops people from crossing the road so when they are part way across they invariably go left to get around it. What happens is that when the lights change they are faced with the oncoming traffic coming at them, particularly by those on the inside lane intending to turn left into Lodge Causeway. It REALLY is very dangerous. The drain in question is partly blocked (it subsides are a number of hours) but what heightens the problem is that the two drains adjacent to it (which should be taking the water coming down the hill) are BOTH TOTALLY blocked.

  • This drain is still blocked and causing a dangerous amount of flooding at this junction. It's dangerous for pedestrians who have to cross onto oncoming traffic to avoid the flood, and it's dangerous for drivers swerving into the wrong lane to try and avoid the flood. Please fix this and clear the drain ASAP. This has been going on for far too long. It's DANGEROUS!

  • I know we live in Fishponds but we don't want to wade through one every day! Drains may be blocked because of all the building work done above them? Anyway, loads of buggies, toddlers, kids going to the Met, Chester Park, Fishponds Academy and other schools and elderly folks and wheechair users use this crossing. Needs fixing after so many months, please!

  • This is now ridiculous, and dangerous to pedestrians. This drain needs sorting now before an accident happens. The two drains just around the corner that should take rainwater from Lodge Causeway also need unblocking. They are totally blocked.

  • This problem has been persistent for months and makes the crossing unusable when in a wheelchair. I can see this was reported months ago and still not fixed. Someone needs to address this as it prevents convenient access to public transport for wheelchair users and the other options are very long detours.

  • I posted this yesterday but for some reason it has not shown>

This was the scene last night on the crossing. As can be seen, this makes walking across it impossible. It is even more hazardous for those with disabilities. Something must be done immediately before an accident happens. I also have a video of the problem if it is needed The drains adjacent to it are also blocked. This is accentuating the problem. ACTION PLEASE
