Potholes along the whole road

There are large potholes along this road all the way from the traffic lights near Tesco down to the Shell roundabout.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry, the defect has been inspected and doesn’t currently meet the councils’ criteria as an urgent safety defect. We will however raise a pre-emptive defect; this means we aim to carry out these repairs before they become safety defects requiring an urgent response. We plan to undertake this work while carrying out other suitable maintenance in the local vicinity. We will continue to monitor the condition their condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. If you notice the defect has worsened, then please inform us via an update to your existing enquiry.
