Flashing amber lights on School SAFETY warning sign not working
Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 13:50, Tue 20 February 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5604937.
I am reporting this problem again as I completely disagree with reason for closure of the job not being urgent that was given at the end of the text below which is taken from the previous outstanding report which has been closed by BCC
THIS IS URGENT. These signs and their flashing lights are installed and must be operated to improve the safety of children. For goodness sake just fix them. Note all 4 sets nearest the school are inoperative.

The flashing amber lights are again not working at arrival and departure times on ANY of the five School SAFETY warning signs around Henleaze school. They have been like this since the start of the Autumn term over a month ago. Please get these operational as a matter of urgency before the winter nights close in.

Two months have passed since the start of the autumn term, A month has passed since this problem on ALL FIVE SETS of school signs at Henleaze school was reported. Half term has been and gone. The clocks have gone back and the evenings are becoming darker very quickly. But still none of these signs were operating this evening between 15:30 and 15:45. Please get this fixed before it's too late.

Please note this is also an issue with the signs on Springfield grove (2 sets) and one set at the junction of Park Grove and Springfield road. None of these have been operating since BEFORE last summer's school holidays.
