This section of Middlewich Road, Sandbach is full of potholes and temporary patches - and the channels are full of tarmac grit from the damaged patches. The whole length needs resurfacing. The pothole at 130 was patched and repaired and it lasted a few weeks and now it is five times as big, after the repair. The hole by the metal cover by Platt Avenue was patched and now it is worse than before. The situation is causing damage to vehicles - I have found pieces of car springs on the road on several occasions - which could puncture tyres. The holes are a danger to cyclists. There is an increase in noise caused by vehicles and lorries banging down the holes. The patches so far last a few days only and a waste of money. I would like this message dealt with as a FORMAL COMPLAINT under the councils procedures.
