Tree leaning across pavement
Reported via mobile in the Tree roots lifting pavement category anonymously at 09:56, Tuesday 20 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5603326.
Tree is leaning extensively across pavement and if tree falls over at any point it will go in direction of my front garden/driveway and cause damage or injury. It is outside 8 Sherwood Way and I live at 6 Sherwood way. It has been like this for some time but over time it is getting worse. The tree needs to be looked at to avoid future problems. Many thanks.

During the coming months, the tree will be felled and the stump removed by a separate crew with specialist equipment. In line with Bromley Council tree management strategy, a new tree will be planted between November and April.

Managed to bang head on this today. When you watch the pavement you do not expect to find a tree leaning at head height. Have to walk in single file. A blind person would not stand a chance. This needs to be removed as a matter of urgency before there is a major accident.
