Illegal parking

Sent to Bromsgrove District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5602769.

DPD delivery van illegally parked on double yellows, half on kerb, causing a traffic obstruction. Been there for over 24 hours.

    I phoned the Police on 101, they're not interested. They said to phone the local Council. I've done that.

  • SUGGESTIONS: (i) I think parking enforcement for B'grove DC is actually done by Wychavon DC - contact WDC directly - details on the WDC website. Provide location and reg. number etc. Also (ii) Contact DPD's Head Office AND contact DPD's local depot/centre. Details will be on the DPD's website. GOOD LUCK ... IF these ideas work - tell the local BDC councillors about 'the BDC's lack of enforcement'. As far as the Police are concerned - they will/MIGHT only take any action - at the time actual obstruction occurs. In this case, a push chair user, or mobility scooter/ wheelchair is unable to use the pavement safely.
