Overgrown Hedges

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 08:05, Tuesday 20 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5602668.

The pavement on Townfurze cannot be walked on because of these hedges being so overgrown. They cause issues for folks especially as cars are coming through. Please have them cut back.

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Oxfordshire County Council at 08:05, Tuesday 20 February 2024

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed ¬†from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
