Burston Road flooded, again.

Reported via mobile anonymously at 14:57, Mon 19 February 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5599949.

Only one of the statements below can be true. South Norfolk Council are responsible for the upkeep of all ditches or land owners are responsible for ditches on their land. Whichever it is, one party are in breach of a maintenance program. Yesterday the 18th February 2024 Burston Road was once again impassable, confirmed by a triangular warning 'Flood' strategically placed at the beginning of the flood. It's stretching credibility to call the ditches either side of Burston Rd ditches but for the sake of argument that's what I'll call them suffice to say they are in a deplorable state. I was stuck within the Burston area, north of the flooded section, driving around in circles trying to find one road which would lead me back to the a140, every one was flooded. Why do I even bother paying £400 road tax?
