Buxton old road about 50 meters up the road from Teggs Nose Country Park
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Simon James Boyle at 15:51, Sun 18 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5594858.
This pothole is about 0.6 meter in length 0.3 meter wide and about 100mm/ 4 inches in dept. I was driving home from Macclesfield to Buxton on the 17th Feb with my girlfriend, time was approximately 6:40pm conditions were foggy hit the pothole with n/s front wheel and back. Fortunately the back survived the huge impact but the front tyre lost full pressure after about 60 seconds and after putting spare on I am now having clunking noises coming from n/s front suspension so going to have to put it in the garage to have repaired as well as buy a new tyre/ wheel if the wheel is damaged.
