Highway sign removal

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned road signs or cones after works category by Craig Blacha at 12:27, Saturday 17 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5590298.

The DFT sets out that “New Traffic Signal Ahead” signage must be removed after 3months of instillation.

As you can see from Northampton Road in Rushden this sign has been in place since 2019- can you remove the sign and pole it sits on as no longer required and there is no legal requirement for it to remain in situ.
