Large, deep, dangerous pothole.

We were driving in slow traffic this evening, when we went down into this deep pothole. A loud bang went through the car. After parking at Orpington, the tyre deflated and had to be changed. We must now have the tyre replaced and get the wheel examined for defects and probable replacement.

    Good afternoon, As expected in my report of the pot-hole incident, l have had to pay out the amounts as per the attached documents in order to repair the damage caused to my car. The total is £241.81. This includes the cost of a replacement, used but good condition wheel. If l had to purchase a brand new replacement, the total would've been approx £600 more !

    Please advise the next step in getting re-imbursement / compensation for these costs incurred.
