Road disintegration after recent floods

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 19:23, Mon 12 February 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5568281.

The road edge has been washed away in a number of places by the recent floods leaving a sharp drop of more than 30cm from the road to the road underlay. The road has disintegrated more than 100cm from the verge in some places. The edge of the road crumbles to the touch i.e. the road probably won't withstand another heavy rainfall. It's possible a cyclist keeping to the left could fall off the road at these places. A car wheel would be badly damaged.
