Potential serious public health hazard! Hospital waste.

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 12:07, Sat 13 December 2014

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council 3 minutes later

There are 5 large piles of waste which have appeared in the corner of the field, next to the footpath from Aspenden to Buntingford. This appears to be hospital or clinical waste, as there are a significant quantity of surgical gloves and what looks like old bandages in the piles. These were obviously dumped by several large vehicles, as shown by the many tyre tracks leading to them from the gateway off the A10 Buntingford bypass.

  • While the majority of this refuse has now been cleared, there is still a layer of the waste covering the ground. The clearing-up operation has been done in a slapdash manner and without sufficient care.
