Footpath cracking/uneven, blocked by conifers

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5563622.

Massively overgrown trees owned by number 19 Thorn Close have caused root damage to the pavement which is now partly obstructed and a trip hazard. Please could the homeowner be asked to cut these back or down.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - A letter will be sent asking for the vegetation to be cut back within 28 days . The footpath will also be monitored under the inspection programmes that take place within this area.

  • Thank you for the update. The trees have been cut back reducing the width but are still massively tall and overshadowing light to neighbouring homes.

  • Investigation: Completed (Work Completed) - A community steward has been sent back to the area and has determined that the vegetation has been cut back to an adequate standard. For further information regarding the height please contact the Planning Department at North Northamptonshire Council.
