Promptly retarmaced (thank you!) but will the patch be sealed round the edge with a bitumised seal to prevent water ingress? Or is this not in the specification for long term repair cost effectiveness?
I note the recent, high profile, LBB website posted, Cllr Bennett attended, patches in the centre of Perry Street near Frogpool/Thompson’s garden centre are similarly not sealed round the edges…..
Does LBB pothole repair methodology meet national best, cost effective, practice one wonders….especially on busy arterial A roads with resulting delays (and dangers….) when repairs are undertaken……
One for the 2023/24 public inspection ‘window’ by CTax payers…..

Thank you for your report regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.
