A bollard has been knocked down to alert drivers of the jutting out pavements. I have witnessed two accidents today

I was cycling home at 2015 and crashed my bicycle into this kerb. It was not signed and impossible to see in the dark. I suffered damage to my body, my bicycle, my clothing and cracked my helmet. I was upended as I descended and went over the handlebars, landing on my back, thankfully not into the path of oncoming traffic
This has the potential to cause significant damage to vehicles and death or serious injury to cyclists.
Whilst waiting to be picked up I saw another vehicle hit this area
