Edge of the road broken and has deep areas with pot holes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:49, Wednesday 7 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5544645.

I moved over for a lorry traveling in the other direction and I went into a divot on the edge of the road, a section was deep and it damaged my alloy wheel and burst my tyre. The road edge needs to be fixed as this is really dangerous.

There's a few areas along this road with adverse cambers and deep pot holes too, the road is heavily used especially by lorries and the whole stretch needs a review. The road is not gritted so theses pot holes, adverse cambers and broken edges are even more paramount to get fixed. It's hard to pass a large lorry safely, quite a number of parents use this route to get to Riseley primary and Inn Farm nursery in Melchbourne, it's a bad accident waiting to happen.

The local farmer is often dragging mud across the road too. He goes from Buscott's lodge to a field near Airfield Farm at the end of the road.

There's also another big pot hole forming outside the gate of Carr Brothers/Lynch Hire's yard.

Some pot holes were repaired last month but there are more and no one has looked at the road edges or the areas which are really wonky. The
