Road land marking wrong
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:25, Wed 7 February 2024
Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5542012.
Coming down Bletcham Way, past Asda/Ikea on the your left and wanting to go to Tesco on Watling Street, with the new road markings you would have to be in the second from left lane to be able to be in the correct lane as you exit this roundabout to be able to then turn left to get to Tescos ..The lanes are so solid line drawn there is no place to change lane over if you start the roundabout where you'd expect in a right hand lane to turn right, plus generally traffic is busy and no-one will let you over. Please amend the painted arrows in the road/road signs.

The roundabout markings are currently correct. If you enter Denbigh Roundabout from Bletcham Way in the right lane you are then presented with the option of 2 right turn lanes on the roundabout. The middle lane which is marked as straight and right brings you round the outside of Denbigh roundabout to the Watling Street exit. This brings you to lane 1 at the Roman Roundabout which is a left turn lane that takes you towards Tesco. The right lane (with an arrow only pointing right) on Denbigh Roundabout brings you to the V7 Saxon Street exit which is lane 2 at the Roman Roundabout.
Unfortunately some people think they can use the middle lane on the approach to Denbigh Roundabout to turn right (to take the Tesco exit) but this is a straight on lane and is clearly marked as one. They are supposed to continue round the outside of the roundabout in lane 1 and continue onwards down Bletcham Way towards the A5.

Perhaps the lane you need to be in get to Tescos needs to have superstore on the road like it does in other parts of country. Or Tesco I suppose so doesn't get mixed up with Aldi that you would need to be in another lane for.

Drive this regularly, and is still unchanged, to turn right you have to be in the middle lane to land in the right lane at the following roundabout to go left at. Drive it all the time and that's the only way to be in the right lane but you'd not think it unless you knew the road through driving it regularly.
Is there any point in this as its not being looked at and have comments that I'm wrong
