Unlit section of pavement outside Richie court

Reported via mobile in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 16:48, Mon 5 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5535476.

An elderly neighbor has asked me to report this concern for her. The lighting on the pavement at night is very poor when walking from the Banbury road to Islip road. Although there are 2 street lights 1 and 3 on this section of pavement - due to the Crescent and width of the road the number 2 street light doesn’t help light the pavement between 1 and 3 thus leaving a very long unlit section outside Richie court. Please can you assess thinking of elderly people walking at night from the bus stop into Sunnymead area. It is dangerous and low lighting is hazardous.

Council ref: 5535476

Asset ID: 002

Unit type: Light
