Half a mile before Blaze Farm on the A54 travelling from Buxton
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:04, Sun 4 February 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5530077.
This pothole is huge, dangerous, and unavoidable if a car is coming in the opposite direction. The pothole is a meter long and 30cm deep. It is always full of water and impossible to tell how deep it really is. Dozens of people have had tyre blowouts. It would be fatal if a cyclist hit it and fell into the path of oncoming traffic. Dozens of people have reported this already. Why of earth haven't you mended it properly yet? Disastrous behaviour.
