Persistent flooding on pedestrian/cycle path behind power station

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category by Craig Rouse at 11:58, Thursday 1 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5519147.

This section of the path has been flooded now for several months, and never dries up. In fact, it's got worse recently, and my feet get soaked every time I run through it. There's no way to avoid the flood when using this path, as it covers the entire width of the path, and is about 10m long. The water is stagnant and potentially contaminated, presenting a health issue.

  • This has become even worse over the past few months, and is having a big impact on pedestrians and runners. The drainage desperately needs addressing. I will be raising the issue with our MP and local councillors.
