Unsurfaced Road Five Mile Bank ref 21136/20

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5517201.

At the junction with Bullock Road and Shepherdgate Road is a "County Council Maintained Unsurfaced Road" know as 'Five Mile Bank' which runs down the west side of a main dyke drain. This 'road' is very uneven. Apart from pedestrians walking tripping but also for machinery going down this and potentially going in to the said main drain dyke. Please tell me your inspection cycle for "CC Maintained Unsurfaced Road", when this was last inspected last and most importantly inspect and re grade or similar this 'road'. thank you.

Received today for whatever it is 'worth': Your enquiry ENQ-684085-D4P2T4 received on 02/02/2024 11:58:29 regarding Highways Maintenance: Highway Damage (excluding potholes) has been updated.

New Status: No action has been taken at this time but we will continue to monitor the problem -We have assessed that the defect does not currently meet our intervention criteria. We will continue to monitor as part of normal scheduled inspections.

Any additional comments the Highways Officer has made relating to this enquiry will be displayed below: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. NCC Highways carry out routine inspections on the highway, and this part of the network is due for inspection over the coming weeks. Any defects that meet our invention requirements will be programmed for repairs by our contractor to complete when they are next in the area. We thank you for your patience while we look to resolve these issues. Please understand that we are dealing with a high volume of defects across the county, and we are working to get these completed as quickly as we can.
