  • The sign has been uprighted, but it has not been taken away, and neither have the cones left on the opposite side of the road. Gigaclear contractors are responsible for leaving both. Also, the original report is not the first occasion on which the sign has been reported. I reported it earlier in January, but that report has been closed without action. Is OCC Highways 'massaging' it's key performance indicators by closing reports where action has not in fact been concluded?

  • Huge potholes in road on Ploughley Road at the end of Old Arncott Road (left turn on exiting Old Arncott Road) possibly 3/4 holes in total but 1 exceptionally huge 1.

  • It’s March 20th and the signs and bollards have still not been removed. Neither have Gigaclear’s contractors returned to reinstate the verges along Old Arncott Road to their original state (subject of a separate report, to which the response was it had been passed for action).

Remind me again, OCC Highways officers: what is it precisely that we council tax payers employ you to do?

  • Fix the pot holes too
