B576 Rothwell Road, Desborough at the town boundary. The 30 mph speed limit sign on the east side of the road is missing.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We can confirm that the carriageway defects meet the investigatory level for repairs and work has been scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within a 6 month time frame and please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.

  • I don't think you have read the fault correctly, this is not a carriageway defect but a missing 30 mph speed limit sign. This matter should be treated urgently for road safety and is now 10 weeks since this was first reported.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We have inspected the area and can confirm this will be rectified within 26 weeks, however, we hope to be conducting the repairs by August 6th 2024

  • Seven months have passed since this fault was reported and no rectification has been carried out. It is not acceptable to have a mandatory speed limit sign missing for so long.
