Vehicles parking on pavement
Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 21:12, Tue 30 January 2024
Sent to Hounslow Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5512676.
Vehicles are constantly parking on the pavements infront of the shops and the pavement opposite. This includes the shop keepers themselves who seem to think they can do this as they are loaded stock but they can’t. Because parking enforcement don’t issue tickets regularly or patrol this area things are getting worse and everyone now assumes it’s acceptable.

I have chased Parking on this for weeks. Same old story - they can’t put any more tickets on it and don’t have a tow vehicle big enough to remove it so it’s now the Councils issue and they aren’t responding to them apparently. Shocking by Hounslow Council as usual!

The van has been there for over a month now. I saw a man pushing a pram on the road to get around it this week. Other vehicles are doing the same now and are regularly parking on the pavement now because there are no penalties being issued. Shameful situation.
