People are parking on emergency services access ramp
Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 18:15, Tue 30 January 2024
Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5512116.
People are illegally parking on the emergency services access ramp on the dymchurch seawall, it has a sign saying no parking etc, it's so dangerous, not only is it a 40 mile per hour road, so pulling out from this point is difficult, it causes oncoming traffic to not be able to see pedestrians and vice versa coming off of the wall, there have been recent accidents along this road very close to this point, something needs to be done before someone is killed. .

In the passed 3 months alone there have been 4 serious accidents at the point people are illegally parking, all that's required is some yellow lines and a better, clearer sign so people/tourists know it's not okay to park there. This is still a problem, watching other people be cut from their destroyed vehicles is not my idea of a good evening. I hope the council takes this seriously before someone is killed.

This council doesn't care about anything, there's been another crash due to dangerous parking outside my home, I'm traumatised by having to watch children be cut out of a wreckage, not only is there still people parking there but the roads are in terrible condition too, the council members involved should be ashamed of themselves!
