Fallen trees blocking public footpath/ right of way

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category by Mr Stephen Rees at 17:02, Tuesday 30 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5511828.

The riverside path through Grove Woods Stapleton, now has numerous fallen trees across it, such that it now resembles an assault course rather than a footpath. There are eight or ten fallen trees between the Frome Bridge and about halfway to Ha'penny Bridge, where the riverside path turns away from the river and rises steeply to meet the upper path. This should be a beautiful alternative route along the river opposite Snuff Mills, but is now almost Impassable.
