Deep pothole on the edge of the road, heading towards East Grinstead

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5507526.

The pothole has been there for at least a month, and is difficult to avoid. It's roughly the width of a football, and about 5cm deep. As it's on the edge of the road, it's impossible to avoid, unless there is no oncoming traffic.

Updates

On Friday 22nd March, this pothole was still present and is still the same size and depth. I agree with the previous report that is impossible to avoid.
