Constantly overflowing bins on Lyndhurst Gardens

Reported via mobile in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 12:55, Sun 28 January 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5501178.

These on-street bins are constantly overflowing. It's been a problem since they were introduced several months, maybe a year ago.

I guess there is insufficient capacity for the number of properties they are meant to serve. In addition, they invite passers by to add takeaway containers etc. to the pile, which end up strewn across the pavement and road.

It's an unhygenic situation and makes what used to be a pleasant street now pretty depressing. There's a primary school round the corner and I see kids having to walk through all this trash every day.
