Numerous potholes; lots of debris from recent roadworks

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 21:06, Sat 27 January 2024

Sent to Lambeth Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5499932.

Kings Avenue is very heavily potholed in both directions between the junction with Headlam road and the lights near the junction with Cres Lane. In addition the road has heavy debris from recent roadworks.

  • One month on and there has been no action taken. The road has continued to deteriorate badly with over 100 potholes in just under 700 m. Most are only 5-10 cm deep but some are between 15-20 cm deep. Both sides of the road remain heavily contaminated with debris from the original roadworks some 6 weeks ago and additional debris from potholes. I’ve witnessed two cyclists fall off after hitting potholes.
