White 'give way' lines and triangle are very faded and need to be repainted

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category anonymously at 12:13, Fri 26 January 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 38 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 5494769.

The entrance to the car park at this location crosses the Marston Ferry Road cycle track. There are 'give way' markings in the apron between Marston Ferry Road and the cycle track. However, these are badly faded, which is hazardous because traffic entering and leaving the car park may not know that they are required to give way to traffic on the cycle track or main carriageway.

  • Many thanks for your attention to this, and thank you for repainting the lines at the nearby junction so quickly. It is a major improvement. I have attached a map showing the exact location. I have also attached a picture from Google maps in 2015, which shows the location, and how the lines should be - most of them have worn away now. However, the triangle was quite faded in 2015 too, so I have added another picture highlighting in red where the triangle should be. I hope this is all clear, please let me know if not. Thanks again for your help.
