Growing Pothole outside Efford Park Office entrance

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:19, Fri 26 January 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5493334.

Previous repair has broken up, now a growing pothole and will cause serious damage to vehicles. HCC need to look at the entire section of road from Lymington to New Milton. It is falling into disrepair and patching defects is not the solution!

  • 25.3.24 This has still not been fixed. A set of traffic lights appeared a few weeks ago right outside Efford Park Office entrance and no one has work on the damaged curb. I have spoken to HCC and they were unaware there are any lights at this location?!?! The growing pothole (now two) continues to grow and fill with water. They are across one lane and the two holes are perfectly aligned with the width of the cars wheels.

  • Potholes have ben left to grow and are now two large craters. Cars swerving to avoid. These could have been repaired when the other damage to roadside in front of them were repaired.
