Overhanging trees in the cycle path
Sent to Luton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5490376.
Using the cycle lane on barnfield ave is not good, especially at night. The trees that are in between the road and the path are impeding cyclists and pedestrians to a point where I was overtaking a pedestrian and was hit in the face with the branches of a tree. And these branches are not small, so it was quite painful. Please can they be trimmed back as this could cause a serious accident and injury.
