Deep pothole on nearside of road towards Sherfield

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5488336.

The pothole has appeared very deep very quickly. Nearside of carriageway when travelling towards Sherfield on Loddon.

This has been marked as ‘no further action’ by HCC but I can’t see how that’s correct! It’s huge and highly dangerous as people have to go into on-coming traffic to avoid it or suffer a ruined tyre and wheel to go over it. It’s simply not good enough to make it as ‘no further action’! It a terrible accident waiting to happen.
