Several potholes in carriageway

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5486887.

Several expanding potholes over last few months in the last few hundred metres before the Surrey Border which have to be 'dodged'.

  • At 4.30 am this morning they were not fixed. On the way home from work at around 13.00 I saw two workers and two vans in the vicinity.

  • When i drove this road on Sunday 17th March 2024 the potholes have not been fixed although they have been marked now with white spray paint. I do have to say its not clear how they can be repaired without a road closure and there's a whole process that has to happen to do that.

  • Since 17th March 2024 all that has happened is the holes now have white lines around them, the holes have expanded and as very now treat the area as a chicane as the first large hole makes you swerve right and the three smaller but deeper holes make you swerve left. Thanks HCC for giving me daily entertainment on my commute.
