Kerridge Road Footway on the corner of Swanscoe lane

Reported via desktop in the Footway category anonymously at 13:44, Wed 24 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5485583.

The footway is blocked with leaf litter, debris and weeds that have built up over a number of years. This build up means that pedestrians are forced to walk in the road for many yards, which is very dangerous, especially as the footway ends at a 4 way junction/bling bend. Traffic travels at great speed towards this junction from all directions, further endangering pedestrians.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
