I live on St Georges Crescent and have to travel out of Banbury to get to work. I have to use the A361 to do this. When you get to the bottom of Easington Road on to the A361 on many occasions and its becoming more frequent now you find cars are parking either side of the junction.
This blocking the view to the right where cars are coming from the Oxford Road, we have to pull out in to the carriage way blind not knowing if we are about to get taken out by a lorry! This also causes issues for people wanting to turn right in to Easington Road coming from the Queensway Junction.
When cars park on the side of the road to clearly take their children to school this then causes the traffic coming from the Oxford Road to have to use the white right turn painted box as their lane causing the people who want to turn right to have to block either or sometimes both lanes of traffic.
The area around the junction needs double yellow lines to stop this and if people still park there then then it is a lot easier for the police to deal. You can not argue a parking fine if you are parked on double yellow lines!
Lets get this sorted before there is a serious crash or someone gets killed.
