This blocked culvert is still blocked and water is running down the street like a river. It needs urgent attention especially as the temperatures are dropping overnight and it is washing people’s drives away

Still no action on this it is causing a considerable problem with access for local people walking from our drives and the road has multiple pot holes of unknow depth as they are continuously full of running water. This is leading to erratic driving by motorists trying to avoid the holes .this is an ongoing problem for many years and is obviously a problem with the drainage pipe under the road itself

The gully is blocked again - water and silt is streaming down the road. The road surface is being destroyed and if the temperatures drop below zero the road will become an ice rink with all the associated dangers

This is now overflowing again and is pouring down the street around a bend . It needs dealing with properly as it is blocking under the road. The road is being worn away by the flow creating huge pot holes. Therefore the road also needs tarmac. This is urgent so needs someone to come out asap as if it freezes it will be an ice rink for cars

In response to your enquiry and the numerous others we have received regarding the recent flooding and associated drainage issues. We understand the inconvenience and distress that such incidents can cause, and we appreciate your patience as we work to address these concerns. Our team has been working diligently to assess the situation and implement necessary measures to mitigate the impact of flooding. However, due to the volume of enquiries and the complexity of the issues at hand, we have been unable to address each individual report.
Therefore, after much thought we have decided to close down reports relating to drainage matters during the winter months as after investigating the data it was apparent that many of the fixmystreet reports/issues were caused by the sheer volume of rainwater that fell meaning that the drainage system was unable to cope due to ground water saturation. We are aware of many areas across the county where flooding occurred and are currently working in conjunction with district and parish council towards addressing these issues.
If you feel your enquiry does not fall within the scope of the above, please raise a new report with a detailed description including photos where possible/ safe to do so via www.fixmystreet.comhttp://www.fixmystreet.com.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Rest assured; we are committed to resolving these issues as quickly as possible.
