Does pothole not identify the problem

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5471436.

I JUST HIT THIS. Don't usually drive north on Crookston Road but horrendous weather insisted I did. Just at the traffic lights at Lidl on Crookston Road there is not a pothole but a crater. Having now reported this I dedcided to check on line for any similar incidents to mine. Surprise, surprise not one, not two but a multitude of complaints about the state of the road at this junction. Can someone in their wisdom do something about it before a very serious accident takes place. I live in hope.. I am having my car checked for damage, watch this space.
