Tearing of wearing course due to heavy vehicles manoeuvring around traffic calming obstacles

The Street in Rotherwick is getting worse and worse because of the focused wear by heavy vehicles and tractors which are forced into alignments by the several traffic calming obstacles. There are now three areas of concern between the Coach & Horses pub and the village hall entrance.

  • There have been some poor quality attempts to carry out repairs but properly cut out and reinstated patches have not been done. The problem will reimerge fairly soon.
