Noisy street light
Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5467721.
Whenever there’s a slight breeze the lamppost makes an awful racket and keeps us awake. The noise is a constant metallic ‘ding’ as the wires hit the inside column. This has been the case for over 5 years but my annual requests via Newport Council’s ‘report a street light problem’ page go unanswered. I realise it’s a minor issue but it would be lovely if one day the Council could find the time to fix it before the ringing drives me mad.
