Pothole on arboretum side of bridge

Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 19:30, Friday 19 January 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5466101.

The bridge surface is poor where it joins the path at the arboretum, and has been for many months. There is now quite a large hole right across the join, between bridge and path. Can this be fixed/filled, please?

  • The path surface is now very degraded and a danger to cyclists. This is a well used path by walkers, wheelers, scooters, and cyclists on National Cycle Network 756.

  • The footpath on the bridge on both sides has steadily deteriorated for well over a year now. Not great for anyone with accessibility requirements or cycling. A real shame given that this is on National Cycle Network 756.

  • Hallelujah! 10 months from first reporting this, there is a nice smooth joint between the bridge and pathway! Thank you, Glasgow City Council.
