Missing bollards on Sandholm Terrace

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:08, Tuesday 16 January 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5452705.

This access point to the walking/cycling path that runs through this area urgently needs a couple of bollards. At the moment there is nothing to prevent vehicles from being driven onto the path, and this is happening increasingly often.

At least one group of people have actually started driving down the path almost every day just so they can park right next to their pigeon coop several hundred metres east from this location, despite there being another access point with adjacent parking literally a 20s walk away from it on Plean St. I use this path a few times a week and every single time I've been along for the last 6 weeks they've been parked there, it's ridiculous.

This situation is obviously dangerous because nobody will be expecting to encounter vehicles on this path and it's barely wide enough to fit one in most places.
